I currently reside in the US, but I’ve served as design partner to companies across the globe. You may have seen “techniques and deliverables” associated with experience design involving a lot of sticky notes, whiteboard drawings, and various other physically dependent activities. Let me assure you that these can all be done in a virtual manner and there are a myriad of tools that I use regularly to get the same result. Communication visuals are in digital format. In fact, everything is in digital format. You’re not limited to who’s available within driving distance.
